ALLEGED SUSPENSION OF THE LICENCE OF MADONNA UNIVERSITY, NIGERIA BY NUC- A REJOINDER

The attention of Management of Madonna University, Nigeria has been drawn to fake and false news in Premium Times of Thursday February 7, 2019 purporting the suspension of the licence of Madonna University, Nigeria by NUC. Please be informed that the news is unfounded and untrue.

NUC has not and does not intend to suspend the licence of Madonna University, Nigeria. Staff, Students, Parents and Guardians are directed to discountenance the news and go about their normal academic activities and duties. If you are in doubt, you are kindly requested to verify from NUC.


PRESS RELEASE

Miss Staphanie Inyang a final year student of Business Administration Department, Madonna University Okija Campus died on Monday 26th November 2018. She was a member of the Akwa Cross Group; a cultural dance group in the school. She was permitted to go home alongside three other students to get costumes for the Akwa Cross group on Thursday 22nd November 2018.

The attention of Madonna University has been drawn to fake publications by illegal online bloggers who have been impersonating Madonna University through Facebook accounts known as ITZ Madonna and others.

The general public and most especially our students (including Alumni) should desist from visiting such illegal sites to get any information or deformation concerning the institution. Anybody found dealing with ITZ Madonna and such blogs should be ready to face the evil consequences. Thanks

A REJOINDER TO THE MALICIOUS POSTS AGAINST MADONNA UNIVERSITY

Recently, our attention has been drawn to the malicious posts and comments which had gone viral on different social network platforms against Madonna University and the management and authorities of the University.
