Justice
and Equity
Founded as one of the first faculties of Madonna University, we produce legal professionals rooted in the principle of “Dignitas Scientiae et Moralis”—Decency in Education and Morals.

A Legacy of Decency & Morals
The Faculty of Law was one of the first established at Madonna University. Our philosophy is built around the motto “Dignitas Scientiae et Moralis,” designed to inculcate knowledge, decency, and discipline in our graduates, empowering them to properly engineer society in whatever sphere of life they encounter.
In alignment with the University's culture, all students are resident on campus, where morality is strictly maintained. This disciplined environment has made the Faculty a preferred choice for parents seeking a holistic education for their children.

Academic Philosophy
Legal education is more than the study of statutes; it is the critical analysis of prevailing social, economic, and political systems. Our program ensures that law is taught as it exists, providing students with a comfortable instrument to resolve agitating social conflicts.
Following the NUC’s approved minimum academic standards, we introduce students to the process of legal development and equip them with the essential tools of legal analysis, ensuring they can independently navigate the variegated fields of law upon graduation.
The Comparative Approach
Our curriculum recognizes the diversity of legal systems. Students are trained in a comparative approach, studying:
• Statutory Law
• Common Law
• Customary Law
• Islamic Law
